Unique Communications installs video doorbells and indoor and outdoor cameras for homes across Windsor-Essex. They run on the Alarm.com app alongside your alarm, so one app shows your doors, your cameras and your alarm status.
What you can add
- Video doorbell. See and talk to visitors and delivery drivers from your phone, even when you are not home.
- Outdoor cameras. Cover the driveway, back door, garage and yard, with night vision.
- Indoor cameras. Check on pets, kids or an empty house, with privacy settings so cameras only record when you want them to.
- Smart clips. Short video clips sent to your phone when a person or vehicle is detected, rather than every passing car.
Cameras that work with your alarm
Because cameras and alarm share one system, a camera can record the moment a door opens while the alarm is armed. You see what triggered the alarm before deciding what to do, and so does the monitoring station.

Installation
We choose camera positions with you, run any wiring neatly, connect everything to your Wi-Fi, set up the app on your phones and show you how to review and save clips.
Common questions
Do I need an alarm system to have cameras?
No. Cameras and doorbells can be installed on their own, and added to an alarm later.
Can I watch my cameras from my phone?
Yes. Live view, recorded clips and two-way talk are all in the Alarm.com app.
Will cameras work if my Wi-Fi drops?
Cameras need your internet connection to send video to your phone. Your alarm keeps working over cellular.
Can you replace my existing doorbell?
Yes. Most video doorbells use your existing doorbell wiring.
